Somebody should find George Thornton and give him another opportunity to speak on camera.
It's been 53 years. Maybe poor George has left us.
If so, thanks for the laughs and RIP.
Can't imagine anyone letting him live that down.
Could be he was happy to leave.....

EDIT...Mr Thornton died Oct 30, 2013 at age 84.

Always amusing to read articles like that that are clearly written by folks without a clue. That definitely isn't "hundreds" of guns and it's very unlikely that there's anything "high caliber" (whatever that means) about them. Does give an idea how well Ecuador's gun control efforts are working if they're willing to bury them like that, (unless it's symbolic and they're going to pull them before putting him in the ground).
