@Joe Link - Yes, I have found the Mark Forums Read links.

I was looking for a simpler, or less click-y, way to get the current forum marked read.

We put the links in there in order to make the interface simpler and more uniform, so if a member was looking for how to do something they'd know to look there first. The downside is that it does require more more click (clicking on the Tools menu), but we decided simplicity and a clean interface were more important
