Looking for a good hiking holster

Hey guys, I have a S&W 686+ that I would like to use while hiking. The problem is, I haven't been able to find a suitable holster. Hoping you can offer suggestions based on the following...

-Thigh rig (of any material) OR a belt holster (Leather only)
-Some sort or retention strap
-While set up for cross-draw, still permits a comfortable draw with either hand (ie twist-draw)
-Will not interfere with or be hampered by wearing a backpack, preferably even one with a waist strap

I know it's kind of nit-picky, but that's what I'm looking for. If anyone has done something similar, or knows where to find it please chime in!

Check out the holster in this thread. The guy makes custom hiking specific holsters. I've been wanting one for a while.
