This is making the rounds today with the precision rifle/shooting crowd that Liberty Optics literally flew the coop overnight and absconded with the monies from paid orders, mostly for Vortex products, placed within the last 3- 4 months. They are/were out of Kalispell and, although known and widely used in some circles, were not a "brick and mortar" operation. What has come out in the last 24 hours is legitimate enough that senior representatives from Vortex have become involved in trying to help those affected, and are recommending those with unfulfilled orders from Liberty Optics to start the charge-back process with their credit card company, if possible. To be clear, this is not Vortex's fault, but they are graciously attempting to help those affected.

Wow! Looks pretty bad. I've spent a fair amount of money with LO over the years. Scott always had the best prices on Vortex. Glad I'm not waiting on a scope from him currently.

And being aware of the time limit for fraud/charge back claims?
This is an important point. We read how customers have waited months for satisfaction on payments made. Well, this is how crooks time you out. Services rendered need to be timely, and if not executed, the customer needs to act soon if resolution is going to be sought through the CC process.
