She's picking out the barrel (can't decide between True Precision or Lone Wolf) and anodized pins and mag release.

Will run OEM internals. Still can't decide on the trigger though...OEM or Zev/Taran. Part of me wants OEM. Part of me want's the Zev and Taran's springs.

Decisions, decisions.

This is my pocket pistol (for my big boy pants).
Nice pee shooter for "big boy" pants, but if you're gonna go there......(stock photo too lazy to get it out of the other safe).......But thread drifting too much.....sorry.

Edit: Now back to the classifieds to look for another pocket pistol.......

Well, I went down and played around with a few .380's. I was just about to pull the trigger on the G42 when this BG came in line. At $150 lower, I liked how it felt and that left me some to get a little range ammo. Fits in the pocket better too.:D

I did and it is a little long but, it is just going to be a back up to my carry. I will practice with it and see how it goes.

Good, they are cool little guns but that trigger......yeah......
I hear what you're saying and it does feel pretty long! I figure if it comes down to me having to pull it out, it's going to be from trying to get someone off me and I'm going to be squeezing that trigger like crazy anyway.:D

Long and heavy........kinda like MY "pocket pistol".

NR, I can't back that up. :s0140:

I've been tempted by the Kimber Bel Air Micro, because it is patterned on the 1911, and the styling is so overboard wacky.

Alas, it is made by Kimber and I don't feel like rolling the dice. I'll save gambling for the casino floor. :s0112:

I like the Sapphire blue one but not for wear on finish, the CDP is what I would get if I end up pulling the trigger (pun intended).

I shot one of the S&W Bodyguards when my SIL had one. The trigger pull was looooong! Later I had a little Kahr and it, too had a super long trigger pull. I could have gotten used to it, but I didn't like it. My wife and I had matching Taurus TCPs, but I sold mine and occasionally carry hers because she doesn't ever carry it any more, but it decided to not feed the second round the last time I shot it and it's been in the safe since.
These days I quite often carry a S&W Shield. Slightly larger that what I'd call a pocket pistol, but it's been extremely reliable and accurate plus I'm comfortable with it.

The last sentence in CountryGent's post hits it right on the head for me. I'd love one of these dinky 1911s, but I'm still soured by the bungled Montana deal several years ago.

I have a Shield 9 also but, like you stated it is a tad large for me to carry in my pocket. It rarely ever gets shot anymore because my primary carry and all around sweetheart of a gun is my Walther PPS M2. I just love everything about that gun!:D

A few pocket pistols from the collection.
Ive left out the compacts and some sub compacts.

But the S&W Bodyguard, Taurus 605 and a few others get thrown into the edc from time to time.
