Hmmm...Good Question.
Off the top of my head and pre- coffee....I'd check out the ideas that Ura-Ki and Certaindeaf tossed out.

I'll take a look and ask around with some fellas at my gun club....

Please Post a picture of your mold: top, both sides of the block, close and clear enough so we can see how a handle would mount.

Here are some pictures of this Lachmiller block. The block handle grooves mic at .255" . I dont remember where or when I got it, but I obviously sandblasted it at that time. I now want to build some 38's and 357's and could use another mold but gotta have a couple of handles.

Two sites I looked at said that RCBS handles work. That makes sense to me seeing that RCBS bought them out.
