I'd return it. Why deal with and think about it every time you carry?... I can't fit my pistol in there without the action moving backwards (dangerous). There is no screw to loosen it either...
Anybody know a trick to loosen these up? Should I just return it to the store?
thanks,
One trick for breaking in leather is to nose the pistol into one, two or three layers of plastic grocery bags. (the hard plastic ones at the checkout, not the soft clear ones from Produce)
Makes the pistol a little fatter everywhere.
Might work when doing the Kydex heat-treat.
Should I just return it to the store?
True statement. With how many guns variants out there, the only thing my LGS has are the 1 size fits all Uncle Mike stuff.IMO, it is pretty rare to find a holster in a store worth owning.
The grocery check-out bags are slick, tough and can be layered to adjust retention.Or, a heavy zip-lock bag!
Will it holster with your thumb pressed on the back of the slide?
Walmart bags are the best ones.Walmart...
And chicks dig 'em.
