Test Thread Koda's test thread

Hmmmm... worked both ways this time, but loading the video using the video camera icon (second option above) took considerably longer to upload the file.
Otherwise, no problems either way.

Yup that works too! What platform you using?
Using Chrome on a laptop. I don't use my iPhone for much internet surfing, mainly just reading news articles. Screen's too small for much else.

And the beating from all y'all about me still using IE11 finally wore me down, so I reluctantly agreed to switch to Google Chrome. :s0140:

It wasn't me (that I recall, anyway) that suggested that drill, but I do perform it regularly.

I also have someone slip some snap caps randomly into my mags without me looking. Or if I'm practicing by myself, just take a handful of ammo and some caps and load the mags with my eyes closed. That drill helps a ton, too!

Next time I will try it more formally and see how I do, its a good drill. I did get my LAX order but feel I need to get one more ammo order to hopefully last thru this ammo crunch and to get out and practice at will.

1,000 rds?

My LAX ammo order arrived this past Monday (the 22nd). Ordered 1,000 rds on the 6th. Got an email saying "preparing for shipment" on the 12th.
Then I got no less than 3 emails saying the delivery date was changed. It kept getting pushed back ~2 days at a time. Original ETA was something like the 16th.
But, it's finally here. Gonna shoot up about half of it this weekend running USPSA CoFs with a coupla buddies coming in from out of town. :s0155:

I only bought 500rds... was all I could afford.

LAX delivered but it did take a while and the emails were odd, one was from a gmail account flagged as spam. The tracking number didnt work until the day it was delivered.

My ammo looks good, too. PMC Bronze, factory new.
Priced a little more than what I'm used to paying from Freedom Munitions, but everybody that I regularly use was plumb sold out completely.
I feel pretty lucky to get what I got at the price I got it at!

I'll see how it shoots this weekend and that will determine if I put LAX in the regular rotation for suppliers...

another test for me. @sobo either you or someone suggested I try this drill. Informal 1st attempt and I had to improvise the targets then the wind blew the stand over but if you look close I scored all hits as it came down.. :p

Good, you kept shooting until the threat was neutralized!;)
I suggested that drill. The FAST drill. Fundamentals Accuracy Speed Test. 2 rounds into a 3x5 card, (or "A" zone on USPSA/IDPA target) reload, 4 rounds to the "chest". Keep improving your time!

I couldnt remember who... But yes, thank you for the drill suggestion. It was an informal day taking my daughter shooting so I wasnt prepared when it came in my head to try it so I improvised the targets with the box top of 50rd ammo (the 3x5) and a piece of paper I tore to about 8in square. I was happy to learn I scored all hits fired despite the wind knocking it down, it was a fun surprise.
I do look forward to a more formal day of practicing it and getting within the par time.

Yes, ive been using them for a while now great site. Ive got a peechee in my range bag with several printouts of their drills and some of their targets. I have a general routine I follow for a day of practice but rotate new and different drills in as well. The FAST drill will be one of them.

Well, me and my buddies had a great time out at the range this past weekend. Two days of shootin' set me back 460 rounds!
Just ordered up another 1,000 rds tonight to replace that 460 that got shot up yesterday and today.
Went to Ammoseek this time and got remans from Green Country Ammo for $0.28/rd.
The USPSA shoot on Father's Day had a bay with swingers set up in it. Thought we'd give those a try...
