Kidde recalls more than 200,000 smoke alarms over failure to warn of fire

The company and the US Consumer Product Safety Commission identified seven affected models on Thursday, advising that customers with those units contact Kidde for a free replacement alarm.

Crap.just bought four kiddie fire/co alarms a few months ago. I'll have to see if they r on the recall list. They are replacements of seven year old ones which worked well and if anything were a bit too sensitive for both smoke and co.
