With 9mm handguns this is more commonly caused by a round pushed back into the case, greatly increasing pressures. With the new barrel, this is much more likely considering it is factory ammunition. Not to say the ammo isn't necessarily at fault, but the barrel may have pushed the round into the case while going into battery if part of the barrel is out of spec.
