Is there a difference in the dot or the glass?

They're both 2 MOA dots with 1/3 MOA clicks, but the M4 has more intensity settings. I don't know if the glass or coating is any different.

Definitely the T2. Way lighter than the Pro or similar models. The Acro is quite small honestly and I didn't like it as much when I got to shoot through one.

Or something like the compm5. Still retains AAA batteries.

I have 2 Pros and 1 T2. I hate the T2 and for nearly the same price I could have, and should have, bought 2 more Pros.

There's only really 4 usable brightness settings.
Light transmission through the small optic sucks.
It's a pain in the bubblegum to see though with night vision because it's so small and doesn't let enough light through

The weight is nice but for me it's not worth the extra $340 to buy a T2

MRO HD with the circle/dot reticle like an EOtech doesn't flare for me and I suffer from astigmatism also. Might be worth taking a look through.

I have the 3.5x on my main AR. I love it. I'm thinking I will need offset irons instead of a red pixel, errrrrr.... Red dot....

One thing to consider on the ACOG options, is the eye relief, field of view, and if you can get the reticle choice that you desire.

Magpul on the more economical side (think they call the all metal version the "pro"), Knights Armament if your going for one of the best.

On what rifle/SBR & optic combination would they be installed? And is the rifle a sporting (score performance type)?
The reason I ask... is that if the optic is low magnification, it is fairly easy to use the optic tube as a "rough" sight.

Rough-sighting is just increasing your eye relief and using the optical tube as a sight.
