My wife works for a grain export company that is up for sale. In the listing of owning companies is "Soros Fund Management, which is affiliated with investor George Soros"

Soros is one of the billionaires that backs the Joyce Foundation and other anti-gun think tanks along with Obummers campaign financing.

So I guess it'll be good if/when it's sold although I'm sure the investors will make money on the deal.

Our best hope is a Republican Senate and Congress. Obama may the least dangerous of any candidate ( No I am not smoking crack, and I cant believe I just said that). Romney is a liberal as bad as Obama, he hates gun owners. Newt is a loose cannon and he really hurt the country in 94 with the Free Trade Act and Cain is gone. If I knew we were getting a Republican Senate I would vote for Obama. If we get all three and crap starts happening then the Republicans wont win for another 20 years and we will all be screwed. I am retired so it doesent matter, but I want my grandkids to grow up with the oppotunities I had.

I would put the odds at about 75% that he does get re-elected. I hope he does not, but given that the economy is as bad as it is, and the polls still showing him at over 40% approval rating, I can only conclude that he has very good chances of getting re-elected.
Once he does, he will be a lot bolder with his agenda and restriction of firearms will be on that list. He might not have the votes in the Senate to accomplish it though legislation, but those who pay attention to politics already know that he is not shy about using regulation to achieve what he cannot via legislation.
Only question remains is - how high is gun control on his agenda. From what I have heard from him, it is actually not that high. It does not mean that he will not attack it anyway, even if only to use it as a distraction (from other agenda that is more important to him).

Since O has already said he won't be bound by what Congress says or passes and he ignores The Constitution we can see where the county is headed if he wins another term.

We haven't seen his true nature at all yet and he has thoroughly screwed America while holding back, what will it be like when he knows he can't be re-elected? Also, I expect him to play a fast one and declare a cancellation of elections due to the coming economically caused (By him!) meltdown.

'86 FOPA- RR made no more MGs available.
'89 Semi-auto import ban- GHWB bans import of cool looking guns.

It will never happen. My opinion of the guy is as low as it gets, but that is just not a real possibility.
Elections were not cancelled when we were in the middle of WWII, nor any of the previous economic crisis. They certainly will not be by Obama.
Let's worry about the real stuff, as there is enough on that list.

You missed the only candidate that can really make a difference....Ron Paul...

No president can do anything he/she wants, without the co-operation of Congress, but there is one thing the president can do that can and will effect the country for years and years to come...do you know the age/health of the justices of the US Supreme Court? You better think about that before you consider voting for any "progressive" socialist candidate of any party (yes, that includes Romney and Obama.)
