Illinois lawmakers override Quinn CCW veto

Anti-gun Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn suffered a serious defeat today as lawmakers in Springfield voted to override his “amendatory veto” of court-mandated concealed carry legislation, thus paving the way for Prairie State citizens to apply for concealed carry licenses.

Nothing like coming down to the wire. And IL voters should vote out the 12 House Reps and 4 Senators that changed their votes from the original bill passage votes.

But 16 hours of training (and it's cost), $150 license fee and a 60 day wait is still terrible.
