The general population has no business knowing sh!t about anyone who carries a gun, and last I checked, we still had privacy laws!

And who daphuck do they think they are to spread this information for the greater good!
Publishing such information can make the published/newspaper liable for and damages incurred by those whose names were published... But Bloomberg and Soros have deep pockets, so no worries...

This works both ways, I say the Papers get their entire staff and staff families doxed and put on the interwebs for the whole world to see!

Turn about is fair play, they wanna dox lawful gun owners who havn't done anything wrong, the press should suffer the same doxing and public scrutiny!
How would you fell if you got your personal info printed in the daily paper for all to see? What's good for the goose, is good for the gander!

I'd be pissed.

Forgive my moment

Remember in the Eastern U.S. when the paper released the names of those that were licensed to have firearms??? Early Doxxing. Can't remember whether it was NJ or NY but I think it was NY, maybe Long Island.

Yes, I do indeed remember this. I also remember all of employees and reporters who work for that paper got doxxed right back and they (the employees and reporters) TOTALLY freaked the frik out and complained that they were being put in danger.

How awesome is that goose and gander sauce?! :s0140:

I remember it but not exactly where it happened.
The paper came up with the line that citizens deserved to know who the gun owners living in their communities are.

I would happily call that person a liar to their face.

You calling me a liar?

Yes. You are a liar! A lying liar who LIES.

What are you trying to say... ?

That you're a chickensh*t liar

Nah, they are welcome to their "opinion" that citizens deserve to know... but they are wrong!!!

What good would it do?

Well, they say that the death penalty discourages killings... I'd say that Doxxing them back discourages their doxxing behaviors. In some states, Doxxing is illegal???

I was referring to their rationale. They may hold that opinion, but their purpose was to force, or at least facilitate, a newsworthy incident.

Possibly. I wouldn't care to try to devine (sp) their intentions, but we could make some reasonable guesses, that being a good one due to the need for newspapers to try and stay in business today as they are rapidly disappearing. Another possible motive is that they are shills for Bloomberg/Soros/etc. That they honestly hate the thought of CCW. That they honestly hate gun owners. That they honestly hate a free America. That they honestly want a Socialist America. And on and on.

SO, this fish wrapper has an actual owner, surprise surprise! Owned by the Hearst Company, who are one of the 6 MSM "owners" in this nation, and guess where their loyalties lie? Yup, DNC lock stock and two smoking barrels!

They devoted and entire section of their webpage to "Sustainability"... my, how wonderful.

Sheriff posted an update. After he made the FOI request public the newspaper has decided to " reconsider " the request, especially since the reporter that submitted the original request also got named.

Nice move by the Sheriff.
