You should use your firearm is self-defense, that is why I have them and why I carry them. I will not however guarantee harm on my family just so I can die a hero. As a father of four, for your kids sake I hope you make the right decision if it ever came down to it.

Why would their be a hail of bullets onto anyone's household? What one person does with their own actions, such as placing a "hail of bullets" onto anyone's household remains the responsibility of the one doing such an act. No different than someone randomly doing it to your house today or any other day.

Regardless of how high you hold such an individual or group of individuals that do such deeds because of what you were taught. I feel sorry for your family, that you are so conditioned, that you would not protect your loved one(s) by first killing 'any' would be killer of your loved ones.
