$25 for a bale of alfalfa, 50lbs wet cob was $19. On the way out the door I noticed 25lb bags of fertilizer for $25. I didn't bother to see what it is. At today's prices probably 20-0-0. I usually buy a couple of feeder steers this time of year but what hay there is available is crazy expensive. Think $12 for a 40-50lb bale and that's from a private individual. I sold a couple of steers last month for $4 a pound hanging weight total cost cut and wrapped, and you would think I was giving it away. I could have sold several more.

Lets go Brandon! First time in my life I paid over $5 a gallon for gas today. Sure glad I no longer have that $1.50 a gas since it came with those mean Tweets that made me un able to sleep at night.

Hay is crazy high. My hay supplier is an old friend and the hay he sells me for $6.30 a bale out of his barn goes for $32 a bale delivered to the feed store.
