Two Barretts pulled up in the same area is amazing. Obviously something not particularly 'legal' about how or why they ended up there.

I have watched vids of other guns pulled out of the water from 'magnet fishing' but this is a record.

And the reference to 'WW2 Metal detecting' on YT is incredible as well. I have watched a lot of the vids and the stuff they are finding along the 'Eastern Front' is amazing. Guns, artifacts, full ammo boxes, personal effects and well, skeletal remains also.

As a lifelong metal detectorist I would LOVE to go spend some time MDing with these guys in this area.

I have no interest in the bales, but sure as bubblegume, had I fished these out of the canal, nobody would be writing about it...
