HWY 30 Outdoor Range N of Deer Island?

Anybody know anything about this place? Every time I drive down HWY 30, I see what looks to all the world like a nice little range off the the East of the road.

Just north of Deer Island a few miles.

Been by there hundreds of times. Only thing I've ever seen going on there were people flying r.c. airplanes. They'd be fun to shoot at but you might make someone mad. You can travel a little further up the highway and find this place <broken link removed>

If you looked at a Satellite photo of the location it would be obvious its not a gun range. Somehow I don't think the railroad would like being the berm for the range. It is as stated above an RC model airplane field.
