As the title says this is a Howa 1500 in .338 Winchester magnum. It has had an after market bolt knob installed. Action is butter smooth, trigger is set at 2lbs. And is adjustable. It's in great shape overall. Bluing is perfect condition. Stock is an all weather Hogue.
Barrel crown is perfect. Zero barrel/throat wear.
I inspected and test fired and it works perfect.

Hmm well it could. But the barrel would need to be set back a bit. Maybe not enough meat
For the chamber area. But it is easy to slap a
New barrel on there...

Is this stock the pillar bedded stock with the aluminum backbone? If so it's worth a couple hundred all by itself. And the Howa is the same rifle as the Weatherby Vanguard, both are made by Howa and are the same design. I have a 1500 in .30-06 that I would never part with.
