Man, how did I miss this thread? Where was I at the end of June to miss a thread that ran up 6 pages in 2 days, and I was even tagged in? Amazing how easy it can be on this busy forum to miss even popular/active threads like this one.

Well @CHLChris, hopefully you've racked up some of those likes you were asking about. As for getting more, heck if I know why I get likes, I mean some of my posts ramble on about as long as a chapter of War and Peace

But seriously, I try to be funny and manage to pull it off, well not all the time. I try to comment on the big issues and try to do so with some level of reason rather than just emotion. I try to keep debates on the subject and avoid attacking the person. I reserve insults for politicians, because, well, they deserve it. I like to contribute to the goofy humor and political humor threads - those are always good for a few likes.

And finally, toss out the occasional snarky comment toward @Stomper, those usually get a like or two

Oh, and I always try to be good about giving likes to others - they deserve it.

Stomper is just upset that another member ^^^^^ is anywhere near his "LIKENESS STATUS".....

When I started the thread I had 100 fewer Likes than my number of posts. Ever since all of these amazing suggestions (and a zillion pity-likes by @v0lcom13sn0w), I'm up 300+ likes now. Being "behind" is no longer a concern of mine. I'm just trying to be a productive, helpful, and forever-witty guy now...
