Well, you deserve some props right off the bat. Bend is a beautiful place, absolutely stunning. I love driving out there, it's breathtaking. What do you do over there? I have a few acquaintances there that are in real estate and construction, they are hurting.

I've been meaning to drive up and get some sourdough scones from the Pine Tavern, before the snow comes. Perhaps stay for a few nights at Shino Inn.

Any information on the pass, is it snowed in yet?

WX is like the west of the state; Indian Summer even though frost does appear now and then. We had one light snow in Oct. The forecast remains the same.

The wife and I visited with in-laws last week in Coos Bay. There was no snow in the mountain passes that we crossed via Bend-Salem-Drain-CB and back.

Good luck on the trip. Let me know when you are coming, if our schedules match, I'll buy you a beer.
