It's pretty frustrating to open up and read an ad in the classifieds and see that it says "sold" but the thread is still open.
How about a sticky on top of each classified section informing posters on how to close their ad when item is sold?
Did not know I would or could delete the ad. Andy hit me with a PM and asked me to take it down if it was gone. It was only then I realized I could. Had been here for a while but still learning how it all works.
It would also be beneficial, if when the thread has been closed, feedback from the buyer can be left for others to read.
I may be asking for too much
Evenin Joe. I always leave FB. Even if the seller does not. I'd rather leave +FB, but have no problem leaving -FB as well. Hurts me not at all I like to give credit when it's deserved tho
I get feed back maybe 3 out of 4 transactions.
I do my very best to be here as much as possible to help out NWFA. If you have any issues or see an ad that should be closed, shoot me a convo.
That works.
Like leaving a yard sale sign up...Numerous discussions about this very topic. Most folks don't seem to care about doing that - they just want to sell and be done with it.
I find it just as frustrating. I make a point not only to close my classifieds, but to mark in bold red letters "SOLD". Surprisingly, even doing that, I've had folks PM me on something I've already sold and closed. Just goes to show some folks don't bother to read everything, only what they want to see.
