That's really about the only thing I like about AI at this point.
They have been shotgunning songs at streaming services just to see what sticks. Spotify has been dealing with an influx of millions of AI generated songs, most of them pure repetitive garbage. They can mashup whatever subjects and genres they want to hit any trend imaginable, and have a full song and music video ready to go in under 24 hours.

Sure they may sound perfectly fine in isolation, but once your playlist has become saturated with them you quickly find yourself drowning in mediocrity. They are all bloody the same. Same riffs, same progression, same lyrical structure. . . It is mind-numbing. I cannot let "suggested playlists" roll on any platform anymore, as they inevitably descend into what sounds like the old "10 hour loops" of popular music. I am sure some people like that (the 10 hour loops were a thing for a reason), but now the rest of us who like a little variety and creativity have to carefully curate bespoke playlists to get anything like that anymore.

Mass-produced AI music content has completely destroyed music discovery on every major platform. And the platforms are loving it, because they cut deals with the AI content farms to massively underpay for the content, and most of the major platforms are looking to cut out the middleman now and spin up their own AI content farms. The enbubblegumtening is running at warp speed now. Support your local artists, soon they may be all we have left.

Personally, I prefer the music soundtracks from the vintage porn movies...
