I like my 300BLK OUT here's a idea don't change it to 5.56 just build another gun IN 5.56 LOL you never can have too many guns the price of ammo is a problem

I agree. A gun for conceal carry. Gun(s) for hunting. Maybe a shotgun for home defense... But there are worse things we can blow our money on in life so why not...
Buying or building a gun is not blowing your money it's a investment LOL AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT I TELL MYSELF EVERY TIME I BUY ONE

I agree. And I'm saying that tonight as I order an FDE XDs .45 to replace the 1911 I traded to get this 300blk. If you haven't seen this yet, this ipitimizes most of us about guns.
(p.s. don't mistake the h-sex as anything porn related, it just shows up like that haha. ) from colion noir youtube channel.

I don't have a problem with 1911 the only thing I don't like is capacity I like to know if it gets bad I'm not going to run out of ammo after 8or 16 rounds with extra Mag even though most defense shootings are about 6.5 second 's and 4 to 7 rounds but never know

Exactly!!! Build it, shoot it, tweak it, oil it and put it in a strategic location for the emergency comes, if it ever comes (but by Gawd we are damn well prepared for it). ;)
I have said it before but my new home defense gun besides my glock is my 300BLK OUT nothing better than a .30cal hog hammer to the chest to stop a man dead in his tracks

If you go to 7.62/39 I know you will need new Mag's they just like AR mags but have more of a curve and I'm pretty sure you will need new BCG and barrel
Nah, BCG is fine, need new bolt barrel and use different magazines.

You may also need to dremel the feed ramps.

If going from .300 BLK to something else, just go 5.56. New barrel and that's it. Same magazines and bolt.
