At least the wheels are starting to grind in the right direction and will hopefully pick up speed.. as well as key their citizens to demand equal rights to permits. It's kind of hard to prevent it from snowballing as they move forward without facing lawsuits.

Granted, it'll take them awhile to really be normalized, but it's still positive progress, IMHO. Just getting an initial process and requirements in place to be able to comply is good. Some fine tuning and revisions are inevitable.

There is no way to argue its not moving the right direction at least. I just hope the gun owners there keep up the pressure now on those elected and do not sit on their hands expecting the courts to help them.

My buddies from Hawaii (ex-LEOs) will be coming to renew their LEOSA carry credentials in October. Things "usually" move slowly in Hawaii. Not to mention the "extras" that are thrown in with what should be a "simple procedure".

PS....they used their LEOSA credentials to carry in Hawaii (due to the very restrive CCW law). But, maybe things will change now (for the better)?
