Yesterday I traded into a, from what I can find, pretty rare 1911. The pistol is a Gunsite Service Pistol. According to Springfield, it left the factory in June of 1994, as a Mil-Spec. It was sent to Gunsite, where it was worked over by one of the gunsmiths. There is a lot of work that has been done, front slide serrations, sights, beavertail, trigger, hammer....

I am looking for any more info you guys may have on these pistols. It was build while Ted Yost was running their shop, but does not have his stamp inside.

Pretty standard. They've been putting those out for a long time.. the originals/earlier ones didn't have the front serrations. Glad to see there's no rail action.. yet. lol
Nice shooter.
