Meh, aim point is better
The newer Holosuns have an extremely reliable track record. They've been getting a lot of positive feedback for a few years now. They have a lot of features the Aimpoint doesn't too.

I used to be in the same camp. Holosun used to be absolute junk. Not anymore. I'd trust my life to these newer models. I've got more than one Aimpoint for my ARs so I'm not against them at all.

Interesting note. Feedback I received from a guy that ran the local 3-gun matches for the last few years and did a fair amount of traveling and competing informed me he's seen less issues with the newer Holosun optics than with several of the big name red dot optics companies.

I'll also say I saw first hand an MRO go down in a 3-day carbine class a few years back. Doesn't mean they're bad optics, just means even the big name guys can and do fail.

My sarcasm wasn't coming through well enough. I was just mocking this forums usually patterns on Holosun products.

I have been waiting to find a aimpoint p2 but I am not willing to part with my left nut as my wife wants 1 another kid. I want one to compare to the holosun 509t and the stiener mps and waiting for the holosun eps to show up now.

At the same time, I love how all these companies have a sale at some crazy % off, but the retail price listed is higher than I've ever seem anywhere, except on the mfgs website.

It is important to know what the normal going rate is before comparing the sale price.
