Glocks is to guns as Ford is to the assembly line.

I carry an HK P2000 and I think HK makes a better pistol. I think the M&P 9 is better than the Glock 17. I prefer a Browning Hi Power to a Glock anything.

With that said, Glock has a place in Firearms history and if it weren't for Glocks domination and inovated design (for the time), we wouldn't have as many good pistols as we have today. Personally, I think lately they've been surpased by better designs from other makers. But like them or hate them, they changed the landscape, and we've benefited from their success whether you carry a Glock of not.

BTW - love my Steyr S9. Steyr is to Glock as Luger is to Borchardt. Ah - except both Luger and Borchardt are aesthetically exquisite. Steyr looks OK - not beautiful. Glock is as ugly as, well, a mud fence.
