This is how I got it, I was going to send it back to Gerber for sharpening and tune up. I've decided to let someone else handle that.
Both medallions are solid in the handle scales, the sheath locks up tight and you can read the BC signature on the blade.
When you can find these, they can easily be priced at $250. or so for a nice one. This one is a user.
