Gallup: Nearly half of Americans see government as 'threat'

A new Gallup poll released Monday revealed that almost half of the U.S. population thinks the federal government poses "an immediate threat to the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens."

with damned good reason, in the past 100yrs, 175 million people killed by democide....(death by govt) and our govt is over stepping on our rights daily..cops killing citizens at an unprecedented rate.

I'm pretty secure in my belief that the guys who wrote the BOR / US Constitution some 200 plus years ago were at 100% in agreeing that government was a thread.
 
Rasmussen: Majority says 'No' to federal control of guns…

A new Rasmussen poll released today says that a majority of American voters are opposed to the federal government being the final authority on who can own guns.

Such a low number in light of the modern flow of information.

One would think that by now, 80 or 90% should have learned their lesson....probably never will.

Remember, these polls reach a cross section, including people who live with their hands out and aren't really interested in YOUR rights being infringed.
Many people thin that letting government guide your life is just peachy.
