I prefer the one on the right for more delicate front sight adjustments on my Mosin.

I've got an Elby Range Buddy adjuster, and it works great. The aluminum holds up fine, provided you aren't servicing crates of Mosins, and it's reasonably costed. A fancier one would be neat, but for my purposes. Not certain if it will work with an 1891 or not...

Hello,

Get the Elby one (elby.yolasite.com) I have experience with these.

Steel can mar your finish whereas the aluminum has a lesser chance of doing so.

If strength is a concern, get the "Gunsmith" model. It's reinforced with steel and I've not been able to break mine, though I use it a lot.
