Shooting at ARPC yesterday I took out a new build with a complete K&M 458 SOCOM upper. I had 2 boxes of Freedom Munitions 300gr RNFP. I fired 4 rounds, the 5th round made a pop and no cycle. I pulled the gun down and had a bullet stuck in the bore with lots of unburnt powder behind it. The brass case was also still partially full of powder. I contacted Freedom Munitions and am awaiting a response from their quality control. Just a heads up as a squib in a Big Bore could be a really bad day! I am not exactly sure how to get the round out, but am not going to do anything until I hear back from them.

Brass rod as close as possible to the bore size - not wood. I watched a guy turn a simple job into a major gunsmith expense by trying to use a wooden dowel. The dowel shattered and packed in around the stuck bullet so thoroughly that the smith had to burn it out, then drive out the bullet using a high pressure grease gun.
