Well of course.......
"Collectibles" are not the same thing and worth more, to the right people.
Speaking of Dragoons (and even ex-Dragoons). My first MN 91/30 was a hex receiver, 1930* marked barrel, Izhevsk. It was thrown in with the rest of the 91/30s. BTW, all of the 91/30s in that lot were selling for the same price. I picked that one because of the hex receiver. It was only later that I found out about the ex-Dragoon.
Aloha, Mark
PS.....Yes, a certain web sight says prior to 1930. Though mine does have the gap between the barrel and rear sight block. Maybe, I have to look closer at the date under the receiver tang?
For those wondering.....

Q. What is meant by "ex-Dragoon" or "updated Dragoon"?
A. A Dragoon is a version of the M91 that is the same length as an M91/30, but has the M91 type sights and a unique handguard. This model was phased out in the early 1930s and replaced by the M91/30. An updated Dragoon has the sights and handguard replaced with the M91/30 types. It is basically an M91/30 in that configuration, but because it is dated pre-1930 it is often referred to as an ex-Dragoon or updated Dragoon by US collectors. While certainly not as rare as a Dragoon in original configuration they are less common than post 1930 M91/30s and sought after by many collectors.
