Not Civil War but how 'bout a '73 Trapdoor dated 1879 with its bayonet...
I also have a 1840 Musket dated a 1851 with a bayonet ...I'll get some pics soon.

When I moved into my house, I found a nice No. 1 Mk. III Lithgow bayonet in the garage. I find that means it's fate that I will eventually have to get an original Lithgow rifle to go with it...

To add: I'm a 6' 4"+ tall man. If I put a bayonet on my 1898 Krag it would be taller than me...

Don't have a picture, but I bought a 16" mid length gas tube upper just to be able to put the OKC3s on the front end of it. It's 'pokey'.....

Serialized WW II German / Polish "Perkun / W.P." (1938) bayonet handed down three generations to me. Hefty. Cannot believe they carried this on the end of a massive rifle.

In 2019 dollars, considering inflation...... about $2,000,000.00

You can find 1873 "Trapdoor" Springfield rifles for sale starting around $800 for ones in good shootable shape , as a general rule.

The earlier models , those before the changes of 1879 and carbines tend to go for a higher price.
