The one thing I really miss from the Gen 1's was that nice fat trigger on the 59's. I looked into doing a retro swap for a Gen 3, but they did a total trigger redesign by then.

I have sworn off the 9mm but if I could have one 9mm pistol it would be a 3914 followed closely by a 910. I will stick to my 40 and 45's.
I have a 6906 ANIB with all the paperwork, box, factory tools, etc, 6 magazines, three holsters (two belt, one shoulder). It's been fired 13 rounds, never worn or carried. It's all factory (I bought it brand new many years ago) except... the day I purchased it I sent it off to Bar-Sto for their accuracy/reliability full house treatment which included a Bar-Sto barrel. (I should have the original factory bbl. somewhere???). When I got it back I test fired one mag full of 115 Silvertips.....Amazing accuracy!! It's been in my bedside drawer ever since (resting comfortably on an old, clean towel.) I'd sell it for $600.00 which is almost what the Bar-Sto bill came to if I remember correctly.

Passed on one at the last St Helen's gun show for 450$ a veru nice piece just not buying guns since I bought my farm. Been buying tools.I'd love to also get a 3914, but those seem to be rarer than even the 3913TSW! At least in my state.
