Since I do not drink alcohol, I would. Plus it is very easy to make alcohol - sometimes without even trying.

Just move out of the neighborhood and into a sparsely populated rural area. That's what I did and most of my neighbors are gun owners, more self-reliant than most people in the city.

I wouldn't say "easy", at least not good all grain method homebrew. It's not difficult either.

Now with extract kits it's fairly straightforward.
