So when Bush's Solicitor General argued against Heller in the Supreme Court (and lost), was that Republicans being evil or stupid?
If this is the fool you are speaking of I would not call him a republican, more like a democrat in republican clothing. "Olson claims there is a constitutional right for same-sex marriage" 100% liberal.
Where does the Constitution prohibit same sex marriage?
So, once again the 'liberal' point of view is the correct one!
Yes, lets argue among ourselves as to which side is better than to just simple try to fix what is broken.

This skit that was put on was a wee bit tongue and cheek at what is wrong with BOTH parties. And what would you say is in need of fixing?
I wasn't refering to the video as much as the comments in the thread themselves.
Need of fixing? The fact that we pretty much have to always pick between the lesser of two evils rather than who is best for the job. Only sell-outs to the highest lobbyist win...what kind of a system is that? It's a broken one...and those in power LOVE that they get to make all the rules and decide what is fair and balanced.
Our government runs by money, greed an power when it should run by the demand of the people. Our government should speak FOR the people.
Both Republicans and Liberals are nuggets, I get that...I get the video. But instead of blamming parties, presidents, GOPs, and entire cabinets- how about we blame the system? The entire system is corrupt and in desperate need of revamping.
The system of government we have is the best in the world. Problem is we have too many bad apples that got into power. They were voted into power by people without common sense. How is it you bring common sense to people that don't have it? How are you going to fix stupid?

Yeah, sometimes we make mistakes when voting and we really should vote the mistakes out but I feel the real key to correcting our government is term limits, two terms never to be elected to that level of office again. Another area I'd focus on would be pay and the congress's ability to give themselves raises while the rest of us are hurting.

It is strange to me that a person can become a President, Senator, Congressman or Judge with absolutely NO qualifications, but the people that are hired to enforce their drivel must have university or long on-the-job-training. Make sense to you???
