I'm in the process of building a No.4(T) replica and was wondering if the No.4 was ever used suppressed when in service. If so, how was it configured. I'm interesting to do a form 1 build of a period correct copy if one was available. The bayonet mount lug looks like it could serve as a QD mount. I do not want to thread the barrel or otherwise change the original config of the rifle.

As far as I have seen in photos, no. I had an original T that was missing the scope and one of the two pads, and I found a reproduction scope and replacement pad. It was quite fun to shoot.

With supersonic ammunition's crack being so loud anyway I would not spend a lot of money trying to suppress one. A good gunsmith could tell you whether a mount is feasible. Try Vezley.
