I have always liked Walnut stocks on my other rifles but could never really find a decent set for my AR. Since my AR is not meant for a SHTF weapon I decided that if I ever found a nice set of wood for it I would buy it and refurnish. I finally found a nice kit that consisted of the buttstock, pistol grip and forearm. I only used the stock and grip because I don't want to replace my free floating YHM Diamond quad rail. Even though I only used 2 of the 3 peices I still think it came out nicely.

I have seen wood stocks and forearms for AR's before but I just never could do it to my AR's. But hey, if it makes you happy then that is all that matters!

i can appreciate wood furniture on certain ARs. an A1 with three-piece wood is ded secsy, in fact.. so long as it's good wood.

dont care for yours, though.. tactical and wood is an awkward mix.

this in an A1 would be pretty much awesome.

Cool Stuff! But we're missing something (unless I missed something)...how about walnut and deep-polished charcoal bluing?

If the AR's came out looking like this to start with, Jim Zumbo might still have a job.
