Speedy recovery. Hardest thing is to stay positive. Take care of yourself. Healing takes a lot out of you. Down to 15 days before the next surgery and getting back my feet.

I haven't had a port yet, just a pic line (20" tube from your bicep vein to your heart) but did get a feeding tube. Once it's in you will forget it's there. We're praying for you around here. If you'd like to chat about anything pm me and I'll give you my information. Stay strong!!

Best wishes for success my friend. I have a drainage port for my kidney coming out of my hip which is no fun. Can't imagine the stuff you are talking about.
We will need to have a cancer survivor celebration when we all get through this.

Cancer sucks, it's such a horrible thing. Treatment is improving though, and everyone says that attitude and outlook make a tremendous difference. Mine is 18 years behind me, but never forgotten.

Best wishes for a strong recovery. PIC lines aren't too bad . Had one for 5 and a half weeks. Well worth it since saved my life. Ports can be more cumbersome, especially on your hand but you will find that you will handle it (pun intended), and much more. Good luck.
