Aside from the 'front end' I barely made it through the rest of it.

Maybe it will get better but episode 1 just didn't 'resonate' with me - or a friend I was watching it with - and we are both long term fans of westerns.
I didn't pay for it, so maybe I'm less picky.
I like Westerns like Lonesome Dove where they use the Old Language and the old ways.
1883 mixes modern language with the old language.....not a fan of that.
It is however, much more realistic than the pre-1990 westerns.

Show em these, and if he freaks out then you know.

All I demand from my westerns is that they be entertaining. Otherwise, I try not to think about it too much.

1883 came with my Paramount+ package, unlike Yellowstone by Paramount Network and the same author. Surprised it is MTV studios, but that's two diff things. And it's dark/edgy... I like that. And it's not woke.... I really really really like that!!!

I just watched Rooster Cogburn a few days ago. Now THAT is the REAL "Western"!

Oo. What were we talking about?

@Grilling425 I'll be honest. Your time here has been very short. Your AR15 icebreaker was a waste of bandwidth. You are very vague and hard to engage. The virtual scent you leave behind is a musky recipe of Troll de toilette mixed with Liberal de parfum. I was one of several to provide a logical response here and you come back wanting know more about a stupid coffee table. Maybe you and your friend would be better off armed with cans of mace and a rape whistles.
$5 an AR will fit in a traffic barrel.

I approve of shotguns. Though they're still not for everyone. For those "others". Perhaps you should be calling #911. Or, get your own security team. And of course, it's always better, if the taxpayers pay for it.

Aloha, Mark
