Tourist brought AR-15 rifle, handgun to Disney World over worries about Orlando protests

" Disney World policy bans visitors from bringing weapons on its property.
"Our policy is clear that guns or weapons of any kind are not allowed at our resort regardless of whether someone has a permit," Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger said in a statement. "

" The sheriff's office checked his concealed weapon permit. "We then gave [the man] back his firearms and told him we appreciated his cooperation," the incident report said.
"No arrests were made because no laws were broken," the sheriff's office said Tuesday when reached for comment.
Disney Security held onto his handgun in the hotel's safe, and the larger rifle was stored at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. "

I bet Bambi is behind this nefarious plot...:D
Andy
Uuuhhhh, no.
Bambi's mother was killed by a hunter. NOBODY hunts with an AR15. I know because l heard it from many, many smart people... they wouldn't be in elected office if they weren't smarter than us, right?

Bambi has no standing. From what l understand, Bambi is a 2A advocate*.

*l own the same claims to assign political motivations to fictional characters as anybody. Bambi is an androgynous non-binary gun-guy. There... l said it.

Permit for the concealed rifle??? And if you are are transporting, unloaded in a case...permit???

A few pro tips here...don't let the staff handle your baggage with guns, or any of it for that matter. When I have a gun looking case, I also try to have a camera around my neck. Easier to explain away as camera gear, or if no camera, electronic or optical devices (not a lie if there is a scope or red dot) Use the side doors when bringing cases in during off hours.

Hotels post signs not allowing guns??? Huh, never seen one.

Guess they wanted to keep his money and didn't trespass him from the property.

Toothless tiger.

I have often pondered the following, which is one of life's greatest mysteries:

Bambi - the Disney deer - was a male.

Then how did "Bambi" become THE GO-TO NAME for female strippers?
