Detective Special in .32 Colt New Police

My reference was to the nice little .32 Colt Detective Special, not the .25 auto Bear gun....I have one

I would rather have a .25 in my pocket than a .22 Long Rifle version of the same "pocket pistol". My reasons are:

a) Centerfire cartridges are more reliable. Reliability = survival.

b) FMJ bullets penetrate more reliably than a "copper washed" lead bullet. Penetration = Killing power in pocket pistols. At 3' you need all the penetration you can get.
