would be interested to hear from other CHL holders who have bought multiple pistols on one 4473 and whether they were also thrown to the back of the queue?
very recently 3 revolvers at same time from same out of state private party, all clear not-stolen list; NEXT in CHL line, then suddenly advised 'delay' till end of April.

I bought two pistol lowers on same background a few months back with a 10 min wait.

Normally, I am nigh instant but last month I had a stripped lower come in and a private party transfer at the same time and was put in the back of the queue.

I've almost always used A Cut Above Pawn for all my ffl transfers, on the order of at least one a month for the last year.

I have had my CHL for years and haven't moved in a long time. Unique name and always use my social security. In a previous life, I had a TS clearance, so I figured that was why my bgc passed quickly prior to getting my CHL.

I came in this month and it was back to normal 10 minutes and done.

Doesn't seem to be any real rhyme or reason to it.

Two weeks ago I bought 2 fixed stock AR rifle lowers and two pistols from 3 separate sellers on one form at my FFL and they all went through in 60 seconds. The FFL said that he had to remember to fill out a form later because I purchased two pistols at the same time.

... things that APPEAR to help are chl, hazmat endorsement on your CDL,
Hmmm... that's interesting. I have both of those, but never thought about the HazMat endorsement playing a role. I suppose it's due to the TSA hoops, BGC, fingerprinting, etc... it's more of a chore than actually passing the test.
I wonder if TWIC cards work similarly for gun buyers... ?

I've purchased 3 handguns and a rifle since November. All 4 were very short waits. Fifteen minutes, maybe 20 on one, but 10 or less for the other three.

Then I went out of state and bought a rifle (Oregon resident, purchasing in Washington). It was delayed. Fortunately the FFL said I could come pick it up in three days, which I did. Never knew if/when she got a reply.

Take my experience for what it's worth. I've been selling firearms through and ffl for 4 years. I've seen people with chl's get put in the cue. I've seen people foreign born with green cards get instant approvals. I've seen retired secret service and cia get thrown in the cue. I've also seen people buy 6+ firearms on one transaction with no chl get an instant approval. I wish I could come up with a concrete pattern. But as far as I can tell it's incredibly random. The ONLY 3 things that APPEAR to help are chl, hazmat endorsement on your CDL, and healthcare/educational workers all seem to get instant approval 98% of the time. Take that for what it's worth.

Thats 'cuz most educational "workers" are socialist pinkos that are programming the new generations to embrace statism, and the swamp-rat elites want their minions armed.

Teachers and admin like @Andy54Hawken excepted, of course! ;):D

Yesterday I picked up a gun from a busy OR FFL. WA resident with a OR CHL which I used as ID, went to #1. Out within minutes. The two people before me used their CHL as well and went to the front of the line. All 3 of us got approved with a 5 min time period.
