Which model should I purchase?

I would probably go with a P320 x5 Legion or some other x5 variant...which wasn't one of your options.

And don't get me wrong...a P229 SAO Legion is pretty cool. But I'm tending to lean more toward striker fired pistols these days (1911's excluded), and I'm not really interested in a gun that is comp'd...hence my preference for the x5. YMMV.

But I'm not sure there's a bad choice here. More like, "which gun should I get...first!?" :)

I would go with p226 legion SAO or p220 legion SAO in 10mm. P210 would be nice also if you could get for reasonable price. P320 has potential discharge concern.

I do have the 226 X Five Legion, that thing is beautiful. Appreciate the input!

Why does it matter what I want? Why don't you get what YOU want?
Well, I WANT them both 😂 but can't afford both. Already invested in a 226 X Five Legion but saw some positive reviews on the 229 SAO Legion. I work the gun counter at a local store and every time I come in I rack the buttery slide of the 320 AXG Legion. Sig really nailed me as their target market with the grey/green cerakote finish and those grip modules. They got me!

Neither for me. Too much money for a striker fired plastic gun and the p229 is too small. A P226 maybe?
Agree. After shooting the grand power Q1 which costs $300 I was blown away. Shot it head to head with Arex zero with red dot and sig p365x with red dot and way less recoil and more accurate. Rotating barrel design is key. I like full size all metal guns but if one were to go striker fired polymer I don't think you can beat the Q1. Agree p229 too small and to me it doesn't look right in that size.

If you already have the 226 X5 Legion the 320 makes more sense to me. The 229 in my opinion would be a duplicate of lesser quality to the 226 you already have. I have the 226 X5 Legion also and I'm likely going to use the rebate I got when purchasing it to either get a Spear, 365 AGX Legion, or the 320 AGX Legion. As I really like battle rifles the Spear heavy is the likely candidate.

Great insight. Other option I am looking at is the Beretta 92XI "Squalo."

Just fyi the 92XI SAO is $649 right now on gun deals. Another option is Arex zero can be shot single action and it's $409 regular/$509 for OR threaded at cheap gun club. Arex used to be $850 and still is $650 at global ordnance. Great gun.

Spear is nice! Just got the Springfield M1A SOCOM CQB a few weeks ago.
