Oregon Debating gone wrong

When debating, enlightening or generally informing gun grabbers, is it best to remain silent or to tell them what they don't know and haven't thought to take away?

I had a recent talk with a guy explaing the difference between an AR pistol and a rifle and the basic legalities between them. What is the gun and what isn't and so on. He was just a guy but is helping politicians necessarily a good thing?

the best way ive found to change their mind or cement their beliefs is to take them shooting. some people are so misinformed and never have actually fired (or held) a gun.

if guns are not that persons thing then dont own one. just because that person doesnt like guns does NOT mean that no law abiding person should have one. just because a person doesnt like someone talking doesnt mean no one should talk.

some people make it seem as if the 2A takes a back seat to all other rights...its like it is a '2nd tier' right where as the 1st is a '1st tier' right which is not OK. Our rights are our RIGHTS and they should all be equally treated as such

Arms isnt limited to just firearms though.

one could argue that they werent talking about keyboards or typewriters either when they wrote the 1st.
