For sticky chamber try some Osso Paste with the blue nylon brushes they sell; spin back and forth in chamber with drill 10 min.... It is not real abrasive but I always plug the bore with a tight patch push it out towards the chamber(plugged with blue towel).

New England peep is excellent, I have one on a Ruger Muzzleloader.
