In my experience, most places are not set up to prevent or detect concealed carriers from entering. The exception being anywhere a wand, or metal detector is used.

It's been around for 57 years. Couple hours of Singing Holiday Favorites, telling of the "Christmas Story", lot's of kid involvement. Wholesome fare, family oriented. "Tree" choir by local church volunteers.
Not everyone's "cup o tea", but most leave with a smile on their face; a great kick off to start the Holiday season.
Several thousand Christians (mainly) in Keller Auditorium.

I respect that view; though I am positive I have zero personal interest in anything Christmas-related. That said, I'm glad my wife and children find joy in said holiday, and they might like such event. Too whatever brings one happiness.
