QFTIf the founding fathers intended that only the militiamen could keep and bear arms, then the 2A would have read
"A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of the free State, the right of the militias to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"they put People down for a reason.
Note, too, the same individual usage of "people" in 1A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A, 7A, 8A, and the 9th A. Only the 10th A can be also read to be "collective" Right (to the peoples or the States if not specifically delegated to the Federal Govt).
Honestly, all I read was "the only good commie is a dead commie"...
