I have a Colt Officer's Model in bright stainless and a Colt Mustang in polished nickel and have never had a problem with glare or reflections at the range. I suppose if the angle was right it could happen, but I think you would have to be firing at a target with the sun in the background for it to really interfere in aiming.

The upside is you can put your gun around a corner and use it as a "tactical" mirror...:)
